Gift Language

Please consider the following suggested language for a gift to The University of Massachusetts Foundation, Tax Identification Number 04-6013152

"I give to the University of Massachusetts Foundation, Inc. (Tax ID 04-6013152 ), a private, nonprofit Massachusetts corporation established in 1950 under Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 180, and recognized as tax-exempt as an organization described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code ("Code") and as a public charity described in Sections 509(a)(1) and 170(b)(1)(A)(vi) of the Code, or its successor thereto, for the benefit of the University of Massachusetts [specify campus, as necessary], __ [write dollar amount, percentage, or description of property] for its unrestricted charitable use and purpose [if appropriate, replace with language for a specific purpose or reference a gift agreement or bequest intention]."
